Twenty-five years building the automation and integration backbone businesses actually run on, across e-commerce, marketing and print communications, manufacturing, and public safety. One deliberate career move in that time, and never the same job twice.

The thread through all of it: in the early 2000s it was a police platform whose screens and schema lived in the database. An admin could reshape the running app, and the database migrated and regenerated its own stored procedures. Deterministic code generation, two decades before AI. Today it is AIGateway, where governed agents carry work from a ticket to a reviewed pull request, and the business authors and operates its own automation inside guardrails.

I am a zero-to-one builder: the founder energy and grit to take a mission-critical system from an idea to production, and the discipline to then hire, mentor, and hand it to a team that makes it their own. I get things off the ground, and I build the teams that keep them running. I think like an owner because I have been one: a frugal builder who is not afraid to spend where it counts, and who measures the work by whether it still runs after I hand it off.
